Janice has been working with children and families for over 25 years. She grew up in Canada and returned to Hong Kong, her place of birth, in 2000 and obtained her MSW in 2008. Over the years, her experience includes children and youth at risk, mental health, refugees & asylum seekers, international community development, victim advocacy and training. Over the last 10 years, she has focused her work and research on the issues surrounding human trafficking, in particular the sexual exploitation of children and youth.
Outside of work, Janice values the time she gets to spend with her husband and 2 very active boys. She is also an avid human & animal rights and environmental advocate, nature enthusiast, and knitter.
